IMA International is offering a course on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) in Development from 22 October to 2 November 2007, in Cape Town, South Africa. Language for the training will be English.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
Apply a structured process to effectively develop or improve an M&E system
Work with the Logical Framework as an active tool for M&E
Describe participatory approaches to M&E
Describe and use tools for gathering and analyzing information
Apply practical approaches for communicating M&E findings
Apply knowledge and techniques used for the practical evaluation/simulation experience to their organizational context

The course is for managers and staff with an active responsibility for M&E within their organization who require new or enhanced skills and methods for monitoring and evaluating development projects. The course is designed to meet the needs of those working in all sectors of development and whether working for Government, NGOs or the private sector. Closing date for applications is 10 September 2007.
